De Beers Group is introducing its “Icons” campaign for the 2026 holiday shopping season, featuring traditional diamond jewelry with a modern interpretation that draws inspiration from desert settings. The campaign highlights natural diamonds in various shades, from whites and golden yellows to rich whiskey tones.
This new marketing push targets younger buyers who want luxury jewelry that stands out while keeping diamonds’ classic charm. The effort revamps four traditional pieces, stud earrings, eternity rings, tennis bracelets, and halo pendants, by incorporating diamonds in their natural earthy hues, drawing inspiration from desert environments.
Desert Diamonds Program
The ‘Icons’ effort expands on the 2025 Desert Diamonds program, which celebrates the variety of diamond colors and their ability to carry personal significance. It shows how the diamond industry can blend long-standing craftsmanship with today’s demand for unique, meaningful accessories.
Lynn Serfaty, De Beers Group’s general manager of natural diamonds, noted that modern luxury shoppers increasingly value self-expression through their jewelry choices. The campaign encourages buyers to view natural diamonds as heartfelt gifts, stressing their emotional resonance and one-of-a-kind appeal.
Designers and Retailers
Sixty-five design studios and brands are collaborating to rethink how desert-toned diamonds can inspire fresh jewelry concepts. An exhibition in New York, organized by A Diamond Is Forever, featured works by creators like Jessica McCormack and Fernando Jorge, among others.
The campaign helps stores market colored diamonds by emphasizing their storytelling potential, artisanal quality, and customizable appeal.

The initiative extends beyond advertising, bringing together 65 jewelry designers and brands to explore the creative possibilities of desert-colored diamonds, including notable designers such as Francesca Villa, Harwell Godfrey, Blue Nile, LeVian, and Almasika, who showcased their interpretations in a curated exhibition presented by A Diamond Is Forever in New York. Designer Marvin Douglas also debuted his first diamond jewelry collection during the event. Together, the collections demonstrated how variations in natural diamond coloration can transform familiar jewelry silhouettes into distinctive luxury statements. De Beers is supporting participating retailers from around the world, including those operating in Bangkok’s international gemstone trading market, with promotional materials distributed through A Diamond Is Forever’s Promoboxx platform.
By emphasizing individuality, distinctive colors, and enduring emotional value, De Beers hopes to make familiar diamond designs appealing to a new generation of buyers.
