Patek Philippe, in partnership with PMT The Hour Glass, has opened an expanded flagship boutique at Siam Paragon in Bangkok. The grand opening took place on January 27, 2026, with Patek Philippe President Thierry Stern presiding over the event. The new location highlights Thailand’s growing importance in the Southeast Asian market for high-end watches.

A New Space for Heritage and Craftsmanship

The new boutique is located on the M Floor of Siam Paragon in Rooms M41–M43. It spans 290 square meters, blending Geneva’s watchmaking traditions with Thai artistic elements. The design draws inspiration from the limited-edition “Holiday in Thailand” dome table clock and the “Thai Ornaments” motif.

Visitors are greeted by a timeline wall that traces Patek Philippe’s history from its founding in 1839 to 2025. Key milestones include the Stern family’s acquisition of the company in 1932 and Thierry Stern’s becoming president in 2009. This historical backdrop emphasizes the brand’s nearly two-century legacy of craftsmanship.

Cultural Celebrations and Design Details

The boutique’s opening night featured traditional Thai shadow puppet performances. The space incorporates carved wooden elephant sculptures and artwork with gold accents, reflecting a deep respect for local heritage. A central feature is a lacquered triptych inspired by the “Holiday in Thailand” clock. It depicts a festive royal procession against the Grand Palace.

The design incorporates Garuda emblems, regal elephants, and gilded Thai patterns set against deep lacquered surfaces. These elements create a narrative journey for visitors, showcasing the cultural richness of Thailand through the lens of Swiss watchmaking.

Salon Designed for Meaningful Time

The boutique is divided into several thoughtfully arranged spaces. Raspberry-hued niches mirror the atmosphere of Patek Philippe’s salons in Geneva. Long windows flood reception areas with natural light, creating a refined living-room feel. A lounge bar with an onyx counter offers a welcoming environment for collectors and guests.

Further inside, a private reception room is available for discreet consultations. An intimate dining room is reserved for special occasions. Every material, from polished wood to delicate gold Thai motifs, has been chosen to create warmth and understated luxury. The environment encourages clients to spend meaningful time with the watches.

Strengthening Thailand’s Watch Culture

The new space creates a cultural bridge, connecting Swiss precision with Thai elegance. It offers a unique opportunity for seasoned collectors and new enthusiasts to engage with history while celebrating the present. For more information, visit the official Patek Philippe website.
