Jennifer Lawrence is returning to The Hunger Games in Sunrise on the Reaping, hitting theaters November 20, alongside Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson. Her onscreen alter ego, Katniss Everdeen, made the Mockingjay pin iconic, but Lawrence has spent the past decade building a jewelry archive that’s every bit as worthy of another look.

Lawrence has worn several rare and vintage jewelry pieces to high-profile events, including a 74-carat diamond necklace she wore backward to the Oscars and a 156.77-carat Chopard creation. Her style may lean classic, but her jewelry choices are anything but predictable.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Jewelry Moments

At the 2025 Governors Awards, Lawrence wore an ethereal white draped Dior gown by Jonathan Anderson, accessorized with a legendary pair of diamond earclips by JAR. The earclips, designed in 1987, were created to resemble frost, featuring two pear-shaped diamonds surrounded by sprawling and splintering branches, set with a sprinkling of snow-like round diamonds.

According to Sotheby’s, the earclips were estimated to achieve between $300,000 and $500,000 at auction. Frank Everett, Sotheby’s Director of Jewelry, says that when an internationally recognized star like Jennifer Lawrence wears jewelry pieces ahead of auction, it has a significant impact on both their visibility and perceived value.

Lawrence has also worn a diamond Suzanne Belperron brooch and the diamond David Webb ‘Hot Dog’ necklace, both of which were offered at Sotheby’s auctions. The Belperron brooch, created circa 1930, is an exquisite example of early 20th-century French jewelry design, crafted from carved rock crystal and adorned with Old European, single, and rose-cut diamonds.

The ‘Hot Dog’ necklace, crafted in 18-karat gold and platinum, and accented with diamonds and black enamel, embodies Webb’s trademark combination of sculptural form, luxurious materials, and striking contrast. Everett says that the necklace reflects Webb’s humor, creativity, and ability to transform everyday forms into high art.

For instance, the JAR earclips, Suzanne Belperron brooch, and David Webb ‘Hot Dog’ necklace have all been exhibited at Sotheby’s new global headquarters at the Breuer Building in New York City, showcasing their beauty and craftsmanship to a wider audience.

Rare Jewelry Pieces

One thing is certain: Jennifer Lawrence’s jewelry archive is a treasure trove of rare and exquisite pieces, each with its own unique story and history. From the JAR earclips to the Suzanne Belperron brooch, every piece has been carefully chosen for its beauty, craftsmanship, and emotional resonance.

At the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, Lawrence presented W Magazine Editor-in-Chief Sara Moonves with the Media Award, wearing a classic black ensemble from The Row, with a dazzling diamond, rock crystal, and pearl brooch by Suzanne Belperron for René Boivin.

Lawrence also wore a diamond David Webb ‘Hot Dog’ necklace to the New York City premiere of her film Die My Love, which was expected to fetch between $25,000 and $35,000 at Sotheby’s Fine Jewelry auction.

Red Carpet Appearances

At the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, Lawrence sported a velvet Christian Dior gown with a Tiffany & Co. pendant necklace featuring an 11-carat pear-shaped diamond, along with Jean Schlumberger Sea Coral diamond earrings.

Styled by Jamie Mizrahi, Lawrence attended the premiere of No Hard Feelings in New York City, wearing Tabayer’s Oera collection, including stacked earrings, bracelet, and ring in Fairmined yellow gold with diamonds.

Lawrence walked the red carpet at the London premiere of her film No Hard Feelings in an embellished black Dior gown with an assortment of sparkling diamond Anita Ko huggie hoop earrings and a statement-making Ana Khouri Phillipa pavé diamond ear cuff, totaling 3 carats, set in 18-karat Fairmined Gold.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Red-Carpet Jewelry Style

Lawrence has worn jewelry from designers like NIWAKA Fine Jewelry and Chopard. She has also worn Neil Lane diamonds, including an infinity necklace. The actress has a knack for wearing vintage pieces in a modern way.
